Eau Bleue was named after its stunning colour and the purity of its water.

In fact, the river consists of around five waterfalls with a height between 8 and 15 metres.
Water level in the ponds depends on the season so make sure to go the right season.
Eau Bleue is also the perfect tranquil spot for relaxation. The lush and green vegetation surrounding the area will definitely sooth your eyes and boost your body and mind with positive energies and spirit.
How to get to Eau Bleu?
Coming from either Port Louis or Curepipe, you can take the M2 motorway. When you reach the Souillac and Union Park roundabout, take the left towards Union Park. When reaching the petrol station, take Cluny Road (B83) on the left.
It can be a bit tricky to get there but don't worry, you can also ask any of the locals once you reach the village and you should be good.
First waterfall is right at the beginning at the first curve of the road after leaving the residential areas of Cluny.
The next entrance is also on the left but it's just a little further down. You can either leave your car parked there and walked down the main road and find a small climbing tracks next to the trees.
Further down the river there is another two more waterfalls.
The waterfalls require easy hiking but can be steep downhill for some, so be careful if it rained the day before.
The third one is the most tricky and steeper to reach. However, you can still see the waterfall from above.
The fourth one is quite easy to climb down where you can also enjoy a nice swim in the clear blue water.
